From the singing perspective, I think Chi Lam has the better voice but he only suit to bring slow songs. As for Lam Fung, I think his voice is just average but nice to listen and he can sing both slow and fast songs very well.
Dancing
Lam Fung like to dance but his dancing not as good as his best friend, Ron Ng. His dancing has been improve in recent years. Due to slow songs, which doesn't need to dance, so I rarely see Chi Lam dance. But in his younger years, I watch a MV where he dance in it which I think his dance is just average(learn just only for the MV, in my opinion only).
Acting(Movies)
Chi Lam look good when he acting in big screens. That is why many movies under his name in it.While Lam Fung only for the recent years, he got the opportunity to act in movies after a film under his name in year 2001.
Acting(Dramas)
Lam Fung act in many drama series due to he is under the management of TVB and he always looking good in every character which he bring out. He also got a Taiwan series under his name and currently working for a Chinese Mainland series. As for Chi Lam, he also got chances to act in TVB and ATV series, although he is not under either company management. But his acting not as good as in movies.
Acting(Genre)
Both look good in modern and pre-modern/historic genre. But Lam Fung also look good in kung fu/fighting genre. Chi Lam always play cop because this type of characters suit him well. As for Lam Fung, he always play as lawyer(solicitor) and businessman which he is looking good in that characters.
Appearance
Both are good looking and handsome in their very own way. Lam Fung with his eyes which have dreamy look and also his cute face while Chi Lam with his dimple which has cool look and also his baby face.
Looks alike
When Lam Fung is tanned, he looks like Louis Koo and sometime he does look like Ekin Cheng when he does certain hair cut. When Chi Lam has mustache, he looks like Aaron Kwok and he does look like Eason Chan when he does certain hair cut.
Careers
Lam Fung start with become host for TVB's Mandarin channel after graduate from TVB's acting class in 1999. While doing that he also has chances to make appearances in many drama series as cameo, then he was given supporting roles in many drama series before become the main actor. In year 2007, he sign with EEG as a singer although he already has many songs under his name as he sang theme songs for many drama series in the previous years. As can be conclude here that he start from actor and then become very good singer, where it's very difficult where only some are success.
Chi Lam start as singer when he was spotted by his first manager after spending his holidays with his cousin in Hong Kong around 1991. Then he was given chances to act in TVB's drama series before make big screen(movies) appearances which he gain acting experience during recording music videos for his albums. He has more movies under his name than drama series. As can be conclude here that he start as a singer and then become big screen actor.
